Join the SEKEMSophia Symposium in November

How did the vision of the SEKEM founder Ibrahim Abouleish become reality? How is such a social innovation actually working? And how does it affect people’s lives? How did a fair and in the same time competitive economy, a healthy social life and a living culture develop together? Or: How can partnership between east and west build peace and prosperity?

These and many more questions will be addressed during the Symposium SEKEMSophia on Integral Human, Organizational and Community Development taking place from the 25th to the 29th of November in Egypt. SEKEM Initiative will give you the opportunity to explore a sustainable community in the Egyptian desert during a five-day hands-on experience, taking place at the SEKEM Farm itself.

During the symposium, participants will meet experts working in different fields in SEKEM and who have deep insights into the vision and how SEKEM’s holistic approach is implemented in daily working and community life. The program combines both, theory and practice and will give you the opportunity to get familiar with all the dimensions of SEKEM’s holistic sustainable development approach.
