We proudly participated in Demeter Austria‘s centennial celebration of the Agricultural Course held on May 18th, 2024, at Loosdorf Castle. Over 130 guests gathered for a day filled with inspiring ideas, lively discussions, and meaningful connections.

The event featured insightful presentations reflecting on the past, present, and future of biodynamic agriculture. Prof. Dr. Ulrich Köpke offered reflections on the evolution of the movement from its birthplace in Koberwitz. Our CEO, Helmy Abouleish, spoke on the power of the “Economy of Love” certification in shaping a sustainable future for food and agriculture. Tristan Spalt, a young Demeter farmer, shared his passionate perspective on why Demeter resonates with him.

We were delighted to reconnect with our network partners, whose dedication to raising awareness and fostering a shift towards sustainable agriculture is truly inspiring. At SEKEM, we embody the power of collective action. Together, we can build a more sustainable food system.
