Since its foundation SEKEM cooperates with other institutions, people and networks in order to work on its vision on a wider scale. In the meantime all SEKEM institutions are involved to several national and international projects.

North African Organic Knowledge Hub
Promoting knowledge about sustainable agriculture in North Africa.
The Knowledge Hub for Organic Agriculture in North Africa (KH NA) shall become an innovative network for promoting organic agriculture. It is one out of four knowledge hubs of the project ‘Knowledge Centre for Organic Agriculture in Africa’ (KCOA) financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the German Development Cooperation (GIZ). The North African Hub provides important knowledge on organic agriculture for all people along the entire value chain and cooperates with institutions in Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia.
StandUp! Project
Sustainable Textile Action for Networking and Development of circular economy business ventures in the Mediterranean.
SEKEM development foundation is a partner of STAND Up! Sustainable Textile Action for Networking and Development of circular economy business ventures in the Mediterranean, an EU-funded project under the ENI CBC Med program.
The STAND Up! project aims to enhance scalable, replicable, and inclusive circular economy ventures in the Mediterranean by developing an ecosystem of business support, innovation, and technology transfer that will lead to sustainable job creation for youth and women.
INTECMED Project
The goal of INTECMED, a project co-funded by the EU, is the development of incubators for innovation and technological transfer in the Mediterranean region. The project aims at creating the first cross-border network of innovation composed of research centers and universities, public entities, investors, and SMEs to commercialize research findings.
