SEKEMsophia Returns for the 4th Edition: April 12 to 16

4th SEKEMsophia Symposium 12 to 16 April at SEKEM in Egypt

What is SEKEMsophia?

SEKEMsophia is a deep dive into the vision that brought life to the dream. In other words, it’s an opportunity to experience what SEKEM is, and what it means to live by its philosophy!

More than 4 decades ago, a visionary had a dream that everyone considered impossible; now almost 43 years later, this dream has come true and serves as a beacon for many others. This miracle is called SEKEM, and the visionary was its founder Ibrahim Abouleish. What SEKEM is about is more than revitalizing desert land, it’s also about nurturing the minds of young children, developing individuals capable of unfolding their potential and creating a community governed by love and equality.

Who can  join?

Everyone! Because at SEKEM we believe that knowledge must be passed on; we invite you through SEKEMsophia to learn from more than 40 years of experience in the field of sustainable development and biodynamic agriculture, how to create an oasis in the middle of the desert following holistic principles that bring together the individual, the group and nature. Regardless of your age, gender, nationality or background; there is definitely something for everyone to learn and also to teach. Join us and lets share our experiences and dreams to create a powerful network and support one another.
