Dear Friends of the Heliopolis University and SEKEM Community,

Part of the holistic SEKEM Vision has always been to build a university, to educate and inspire young people and to conduct holistic research leading to a sustainable future. The heart of our cultural work will remain the unfolding of the individual potential of our students and fellow employees, through the continuous development of our Core Program, Action Research and Community-based Learning.
|
|
|
|
Since its founding in 2011, Heliopolis University for Sustainable Development (HU) covers the cultural and economic, the social and ecological dimension to develop and enhance innovation, practical implementation and cultural impulses. In the past 10 years, five faculties were established, limited by restrictions of available land at the Cairo Campus. In line with HU’s intention to spread the knowledge of sustainability in Egypt and reaching under-served rural areas, we are happy to now announce that we are currently building a new campus in Adleya/ Sharkeya with additional eight faculties.

SEKEM Day 2021: 2nd October in Stuttgart organized by the SEKEM Friends Association Germany

The SEKEM Day brings together many people who feel connected to global values and human development through the SEKEM impulse. Different projects such as SEKEM Youth, Biodiversity in Wahat or health projects at SEKEM will be presented, which are all working for the sustainability of our society and earth. At the future forum "Zukunft TUN-Mensch SEIN" Gerald Häfner and Helmy Abouleish will talk about "Building the future in a time of change".
